KLM has increased its share in Air UK from 14.9 to 45 per cent to strengthen the UK independent's capital base. The Dutch flag has also raised its share in Martinair from 33.82 to 50 per cent. This gives KLM an equal share in the Dutch charter carrier with NedLloyd which took its share up from 49.19 per cent. KLM has also disposed of its shares in three Dutch hotels to Golden Tulip, in which it holds 25 per cent.
