Quest Aircraft has begun formal certification flight testing of the Kodiak single-turboprop utility aircraft after passing the milestone of 100h in around 100 flights since the maiden sortie in October last year. The 10-seat aircraft will make its public debut at the Alaska state aviation show in May, when Sandpoint, Idaho-based Quest will formally launch the Kodiak and begin to taking orders. Certification is planned for early next year, and Quest plans to build 13 aircraft in the first year.
