Airbus has exceeded 1,000 net orders for 2015 after securing several large single-aisle agreements during November.
Korean Air has formally signed for 30 A321neo jets, having disclosed a tentative deal for the aircraft during the Paris air show.
Budget airlines EasyJet and VietJet each recently ordered 30 A320-family aircraft, and Airbus’s latest backlog figures record both agreements.
The figures also include IAG carriers Iberia’s and Aer Lingus’ orders for 19 aircraft – among them four A330s – plus TAP Portugal’s deal for 53 jets.
TAP is ordering 14 re-engined A330-900neos plus 39 single-aisle aircraft, which include the longer-range version of the A321neo. Airbus has recorded TAP’s cancellation of 12 A350s as part of the revised pact.
Activity in November, which also featured an order for a private A330, brought net orders for the first 11 months of the year to 1,007.
Airbus has delivered 10 A350s so far this year as well as 24 A380s. The airframer’s total deliveries reached 556 aircraft, two more than it had achieved at the same point in 2014.
