Korean Air is to sell three McDonnell Douglas (MDC) DC-10-30s and its three remaining Boeing 727-200ADVs, as part of its fleet modernisation. The 727s will be phased out by April and replaced by three MDC MD-83/82s. The DC-10s were withdrawn from service in October and replaced by Airbus A300-600s. Korean has also grounded one of its early-build A300B4s.
