Korean Air (KAL) and Latin American airline group LAN have signed a memorandum of understanding for a codeshare partnership. The agreement will initially cover passenger services but may eventually also include co-operation in cargo, says KAL. Codesharing is expected to start in March on KAL-operated services between Seoul and Los Angeles, and LAN-operated services from Los Angeles to Lima and Santiago.
