Jet Aviation chief executive Heinz Köhli has quit after nearly 32 years on the management team of the Swiss-headquartered business aviation services provider, the last four in the top job. His abrupt exit has been attributed by Jet Aviation to "differences over the company's future strategy". Carl Hirschmann, son of the founder of Jet Aviation and the only family member to have a stake in the company and a seat on the board, will succeed Köhli on an interim basis. Köhli steered the then family-run Jet Aviation through its acquisition by private equity group Permira and oversaw the acquisition of US maintenance specialist Midcoast Aviation from Sabreliner
