L-3 Communications has raised $768 million from a stock offering and $750 million from a debt placement. Proceeds will be used to pay down debt from recent acquisitions, including the $1.1 billion purchase of Raytheon's Aircraft Integration Systems unit, and to fund future acquisitions.
