The new chief executive of the UK's Consortium of Lancashire Aerospace (CLA) is Ron Bertolini. The consortium represents over 100 aerospace and high- technology engineering companies in the northwest of England. Bertolini was previously director of supply management at British Aerospace (Defence), Military Aircraft division, and has also been chief avionics-systems engineer for the Tornado strike aircraft and director of systems technology.
