Boeing has completed the production of the 737 Classic family at its Renton, Washington plant, with the handing over of two 737-400s to CSA Czech Airlines at the end of February. Boeing introduced the 737 Classic series with the 737-300, which entered service in 1984, and a total of 1,988 -300s, -400s and -500s have been produced in the ensuing 16 years.
