Veteran cosmonaut Viktor Afanasyev is to command the Soyuz TM29, which will be launched on the final planned manned mission to the Mir space station next February. He will be joined by two commercial cosmonaut guests, one from France (probably Jean Pierre Haignere) and one from Slovakia. The main crew will remain until June, just five days before it plunges to destruction.
