The UK Royal Air Force halted frontline operations of its last 10 Sepecat Jaguars on 30 April, following 33 years of service. Confirming that 6 Sqn will cease all flying activities involving the type on 25 May, the Ministry of Defence says: "Many Jaguar personnel will redeploy to the [Eurofighter] Typhoon Force ahead of their planned dates and be part of the work-up for operational deployment of the aircraft."
