Boeing delivered the Next Generation 737-900 (Extended Range), to launch customer Jakarta-based Lion Air in Seattle.
The 737 delivered to Lion Air is the latest version of the airplane in the airline's livery. The airline's first two airplanes were delivered in a special paint scheme that featured the Lion Air lion on the vertical stabiliser and the Boeing livery colours on the fuselage.
Lion Air, which took the delivery in Seattle operates an all-Boeing fleet and has received three 737-900ERs.
