NASA says it plans to launch two Earth observation satellites and a cometary explorer between April and July. The Earth Observing System Aqua EOS-PM platform will be launched by a Delta II from Vandenberg air force base, California, on 26 April and will be followed by the NOAA-M meteorological satellite aboard a Titan II, also from Vandenberg, on 24 June. Seven days later, another Delta II is scheduled to be launched from Cape Canaveral with the Comet Nucleus Tour spacecraft.
