UK business aircraft charter operator London Executive Aviation (LEA) remains in negotiations with Cessna to advance the delivery slot for the first of its order of nine Citation Mustang entry-level jets.

Chief executive Patrick Margetson-Rushmore says the company is in ongoing discussions with Cessna to move its first slot to early- to mid-2007.

The London City airport-based operator has placed the largest European order for Mustangs. LEA is currently scheduled to take delivery of its first aircraft late next year, with two Mustangs following in each quarter of 2008. Cessna is scheduled to receive the Mustang demonstrator this quarter, leading to first deliveries early next year.
