THE crash of a Learjet 25B, which overran the runway at Royal Air Force Northolt in London in the UK and burst through the perimeter fence on to a road, had followed an argument between captain and co-pilot, says the passenger, actress Lisa Hogan. She says that the co-pilot had tried to force the captain to go-around, but he insisted on landing. Air traffic controllers say that the aircraft made a steep visual approach and touched down fast about half way along the 1,700m (5,550ft) runway. The aircraft, operated by MAC Aviation of Zaragoza, Spain, hit a van. No one was seriously injured.
