Everyone should be given a chance to savour the taste of Dubai, a city steeped in century-old customs yet beating to the sound of a young and liberal heart.

And there's another beat echoing around the streets... a musical beat. Dubai has its own unique nightclub scene.

The Lodge, in Al Nasr Leisureland, opens for business from 11pm until 3am. It's a popular haunt for the young and there's a sectioned dining area.

The aptly-named Garage Club, situated within the Ramee International Hotel, Deira, is an unpretentious nightclub, containing cars, cleverly converted into seating areas. There's also a bus and don't miss the Morgan sports car parked in reception.

The Cyclone is situated next to Al Nasr Leisureland. this club gets packed at the weekend, hammering out top tunes from 9pm to 3am. There's a large dance floor, seating and a balcony where a strict dress code is enforced. You may also be asked to pay an entrance fee.
