Nineteen of the Peruvian air force's Sukhoi Su-22M2/UM2 strike aircraft are to enter a service life extension programme next month that will extend operations of the aircraft beyond 2010. Work is to be carried out locally under the supervision of KnAAPO personnel and includes airframe and engine overhaul and mission system improvements.
