Raytheon aircraft is at Asian Aerospace 2000 with a line up of jet turboprop aircraft for business and special mission use. Highlighting the company's presence is the Beechjet 400A light business jet, a fast and roomy aircraft that has a proven record for corporate use and special mission roles.

In addition to the Beechjet, Raytheon is also showing a Hawker 800X, a Beech King Air 350 and B200 and a Beech 1900D airliner.

Although featured in commercial versions, Raytheon Aircraft builds Hawkers, Beechjets and King Airs in government and special mission configurations as well.

The Beechjet 400A has found a new niche in the Asia-Pacific area. Private Air, an aircraft management organisation based in Sydney, Australia, is using the Beechjet 400A as an aeromedical retrieval aircraft when the need arose to transport critically ill or injured people from the Southwest Pacific Islands to Sydney

"The Beechjet is perfect for aeromedical use because the flat-sided, spacious cabin gives the medical staff the room they need for their life saving efforts," says Ted Farid, vice president, worldwide Jet Sales for Raytheon Aircraft.
