The US Navy has become the first customer for the Israel Military Industries (IMI) Light Defender, stand-off loitering weapon system. The USN has signed a contract to purchase a small number of systems for evaluation with its helicopters. Light Defender is a derivative of IMI's Delilah manoeuvring, loitering decoy.
