Indonesian budget carrier Lion Air has ordered three more Airbus A330-300s, analysis of the airframer’s backlog has revealed.
Lion Air already has three A330-300s, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700s, which were ordered in late 2014.
But three more of the variant have been added to Lion Air’s total, Airbus has disclosed in its latest backlog revision.
The aircraft were ordered in September last year but attributed to an undisclosed customer.
Airbus’s order figures show that the 8 September 2016 agreement for three A330-300s also included eight A320neos.
