Japan Airlines and Lufthansa are the latest carriers to offer live in-flight television via travellers’ laptops on certain long-haul flights. Singapore Airlines was the first to offer the service in July last year. All three carriers were early customers of Connexion by Boeing’s high-speed internet service. Depending on which region the aircraft is flying over, passengers can receive BBC World, CNBC, euro news or MSNBC.
