The Alenia/Lockheed Martin LMATTS venture is including two Lockheed MartinC-130H Hercules and two Alenia G222s in its bid to fulfil the Greek air force's tactical transport requirement. The four aircraft will be ex-Italian air force. The bid is centred around new C-27Js, but the used aircraft will allow an immediate increase in transport capacity.
