Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems of Fort Worth, Texas, has shipped the fifth F-22 mid-fuselage to the company's Aeronautical Systems division in Marietta, Georgia. The mid-section will form part of a non-flying F-22, scheduled to be used for ground testing. A total of 11 mid-fuselages are being built at Fort Worth as part of an engineering and manufacturing development phase. Four fuselages are now being worked on, one of which will be delivered later this year.
