Logica has been awarded a £3.5 million ($5.4 million), five-year information-technology systems-management outsourcing contract from the UK's Airport Co-ordination, an airline-owned company which is responsible for allocating arrival and departure slots at London's Heathrow and Gatwick international airports. UK-based Logica will be responsible for applications management, networks, desktop, data centre and help-desk activities.
