Commander Aircraft is to build a long range version of the Commander 114B four- seat touring aircraft, extend- ing range at 75% cruise power by 470km (255nm). The Bethany, Oklahoma-based company will achieve the range increase by marrying the wing of the Commander 114TC with the standard Commander 114B, to give a maximum range of 2,000km, or 1,600km at 74% cruise power, both with a 45min instrument flight rules reserve.
