Richard Russell has been named president of the Longbow Limited Liability Company, the Lockheed Martin/Northrop Grumman joint venture developing and manufacturing the Longbow weapon system. He will also head Longbow International, a joint venture set up for international sales. He was formerly director of advanced systems at Lockheed Martin's Electronics & Missiles in Orlando, Florida. Russell succeeds George Minto, who will direct business-development activities for Electronics & Missiles' missile programmes.
