Polish flag-carrier LOT is expecting to have five Boeing 787-8s by August, having taken delivery of its third.
LOT is preparing to restart services with the 787 after the airline, the first in Europe to operate the jet, was forced to suspend 787 operations in January.
Its third 252-seat aircraft (SP-LRC) arrived at LOT's base in Warsaw on 17 May.
LOT is planning to receive five of the type by August, the carrier says. It will resume regular 787 operations on 5 June.
"Very soon, as the only airline in Europe, we will offer our passengers again a unique standard of travel," says LOT board member for operational matters Tomasz Balcerzak.
LOT agreed to lease other long-haul types while its 787 fleet was grounded over the battery crisis.
