LOW-SPEED TESTING OF THE McDonnell Douglas MD-95, using a 9%-scale model, has been successfully completed at the United Technology Research Centre in East Hartford, Connecticut. Testing has established that the aircraft can be recovered from very high angles of attack which can be achieved in the post stall, or "deep-stall" portion of the flight envelope. The first MD-95 will be flown in April 1998.n
