Oklahoma-based Rocketplane is testing a model of its XP suborbital vehicle in the low-speed windtunnel at the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University, Kansas.

Last month Rocketplane conducted Mach 4 high-speed windtunnel tests with a 22.2cm (8.75in) model of the XP at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The company aims to use the XP to offer suborbital tourist flights from 2007.
