Nigel Leung asks that if a qualified pilot's salary is reduced, is he going to fly his aircraft less safely (Flight International 23 - 29 April).
If a pilot's salary is reduced the quality of services offered will most definitely be reduced by a corresponding amount. Of this there can be no doubt. I would like to ask Mr Leung my own question: would he like to be operated on by a qualified surgeon who has just had his salary reduced?
