The SAirGroup has found a partner for German tourism company LTU. From January, Cologne-based Rewe Touristik will buy LTU Touristik outright, while taking a 40% stake in the LTU airline, forming Germany's second largest tourism group. SAirGroup will retain a 49.9% stake in LTU airline, with the West LB banking house holding 10.1%. The SAir Group and LTU management plans were agreed with the unions, works councils and staff, and placed great emphasis on finding a suitable partner for LTU to return it to health.
