Lufthansa has bought a second Boeing 737-800 full flight simulator from Thomson Simulation and Training (TTS). The simulator was originally destined for TTS' new eight-bay Orbit training centre at London Heathrow Airport. A similar TTS device entered service with Lufthansa's new Berlin training operation in February, becoming the first of its new C2000 range to gain certification. Although the German airline does not operate Next Generation 737s, it intends to offer the centre to third parties which are seeking training.
