Lufthansa is restoring its Frankfurt-Phoenix route to a daily service, and upping its Frankfurt-Nagoya service to five times a week. Both services were cut to three times a week after 11 September. Also from June, Frankfurt-Caracas will be doubled to six times a week. Frankfurt-Ho Chi Minh is increased from two to three services a week. The carrier has recently added Boston, Shanghai and Tokyo connections from Munich. From October, it will augment its Frankfurt-Dubai service with Airbus A340 flights from Munich as well as part of its dual-hub strategy to develop both airports as main bases.
