Austrian Airlines has contracted Lufthansa Technik's Aero Alzey regional engine overhaul shop to service General Electric CF34-10E turbofans powering Embraer 195 regional jets.
LHT says the 15-year exclusive MRO agreement covers Austrian's current and future E195s.
The Lufthansa Group carrier is taking 17 E195s from German sister company CityLine by 2017 as replacements for Austrian's ageing Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 regional jets.
Flightglobal's Fleets Analyzer database shows that Austrian has four E195s today.
