Lufthansa has named the six-man executive board which is to take charge of the restructured passenger division of the company from 1 April. The company's current executive vice-president for marketing, Frederick Reid, will become head of marketing and network management, as well as being board spokesman. Lufthansa's current sales director for Germany, Stefan Pichler, is to become the board's head of sales, while products and services will be handled by Lufthansa CityLine managing director Karl-Friedrich Rausch. CityLine says that Rausch's successor as managing director has not yet been confirmed. Airbus A340 captain and current executive vice-president of operations, Carl Sigel, will become the board member for operations, while Ralf Teckentrup, now Lufthansa's marketing control chief, is to become head of business management. Company lawyer Wolfgang Sacher has been appointed the board's personnel chief.
