Luxembourg is one of eight European states investing in the Airbus A400M military freighter.
The cheerful heraldic markings of the Duchy of Luxembourg are proudly displayed alongside the more familiar roundels of Europe's major air arms on models of the big turboprop on the Airbus Military stand (A1/2, Hall 5).
The real aircraft will carry Luxembourg's markings, but it will be operated by a Belgian squadron because the diminutive European state has no air force of its own.
