Singapore Airlines (SIA) has become the second international carrier after Malaysia Airlines to announce plans to fly to Macau's new airport. SIA will launch a twice-weekly service from 1 December. Its regional subsidiary, SilkAir, is to inaugurate a new twice-weekly service between Singapore and Vientiane in Laos, from 3 November, following the recent signing of a bilateral agreement.
