Malaysia Airlines was awarded rights by the Malaysia Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) to launch new and additional services in March.
MAVCOM states that the Oneworld carrier was cleared to launch services to Sanya, as well as adding flights from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok, Denpasar and Nanjing.
Malindo Air was also cleared to launch new two new services in January and March, and raise its Langkawi-Chengdu frequency this month.
Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines' rural services unit, MASWings, was awarded rights to start three new services this month.
Meanwhile, AirAsia X returned some of its China frequencies to MAVCOM, after it expired at year-end.
