Malaysia staged its biennial Defence Services Asia show in Kuala Lumpur from 23-26 April. With the nation due to unveil its next five-year defence plan for 1996-2000, DSA 96 attracted 623 companies from 40 countries. Traditionally large national contingents from France, the Netherlands and the UK were joined by a high-profile presence from South Africa. Paul Lewis reports.
