Hungarian flag-carrier Malev has released a shortlist of designs after inviting entries for a special livery on one of its Bombardier Q400 turboprops.
The aircraft, registered HA-LQD, is an ex-Scandinavian Airlines Q400 and has been carrying a hybrid livery since being placed into Malev service.
Malev says it received over 200 entries for the competition - from amateurs to qualified graphics artists - and has opened public vote to aid its selection of the final colour scheme. View the shortlisted entries here.
"One criterion of the final design is that it should draw the attention of air travellers to the unique values of Hungary," says the airline.
Although it says 20 designs have been shortlisted, the selection comprises 21 liveries. The public vote closes on 16 October.
