Business aircraft manufacturers are hiring additional sales executives and establishing new service centres in Asia to meet growing demand from customers in the region.

Bombardier Business Aircraft has opened new regional sales offices in New Delhi and Singapore. The New Delhi office, headed by Nalin Jain, will be responsible for the Indian market while the Singapore office, led by Christophe Chicandard, will look after South-East Asia. Previously Bombardier’s Hong Kong office, still led by David Dixon, covered the entire region.

Dassault Falcon Jet also has split the region in two and appointed a new sales director. Mike Fies has ceded responsibility for China, Japan and Taiwan to Carlos Brana. Falcon Jet will initially base Brana in New Jersey, but is considering opening a second sales office in Asia. Gulfstream already has two sales offices in the region, located in Hong Kong and Singapore. Cessna still has one office in Singapore, while Raytheon Aircraft has an office in Beijing covering north Asia and uses Hawker Pacific in South-East Asia and Australia. Embraer last year began using its Singapore office to cover corporate jet sales in the region.
