Becker Avionic Systems (Hall 5/G7) is promoting Airscout, a fast moving map navigation system which features a number of extras.
The Airscout, for use in civil and defence helicopters and fixed wing aircraft, has a very fast global positioning system (GPS) sensor. This tracks eight satellites with six parallel channels and provides position and heading updates four times a second.
Other features include the ability to store several hundred flight plans in the system plus up to 50 maps for any area.
