Bayo of France and Garmin Europe are sharing a stand in Hall 4/F1 with American firm Garmin which supplies them with GPS equipment.
On show at the site are two fixed panel navigators with high definition moving maps - the GPS 150XL and the GPS 250XL.
The company claims these are the only VFR panel mounted units in the market to employ powerful 12-channel GPS receivers. The updated models have high resolution moving map graphics with a display which has twice as many pixels as competitors' panel mounted products.
Garmin has just become a full-line avionics manufacturer with the addition of an audio panel, transponder and new indicators, some of which are on show at Paris.
