Boullioun Aviation Services has leased an ex-Taiwanese air force Boeing 737-400 to Asiana Airlines. US freight operator BAX Global has added a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 freighter to its fleet on wet-lease from Gemini Air Cargo. British Airways has delivered the first Boeing 757-200 to Boeing Airplane Services' Wichita, Kansas, facility for freighter conversion for express packages operator DHL. The aircraft, one of 44 DHL is acquiring, is to begin flight testing in October, with delivery following before the end of the year. ETA Air Services, based in Ras al Khaimah, has acquired a Raisbeck-equipped Boeing 727-200Adv from Qatar Airways in a deal arranged by ALM. British Midland ordered two International Aero Engines V2500-powered Airbus A320s in June. The airline has also confirmed an order for two Rolls-Royce Trent 700-powered A330-200s. Deliveries of all four aircraft are due next year. Turkish charter airline EuroSun has added two Boeing 737-300s and a 737-200, on lease from Pegasus Aviation. British European will add an ex-Braathens Malmo Aviation BAe 146-200 next year on lease from BAE Systems Asset Management. CIT Aerospace has purchased an R-R Trent 800-powered Boeing 777-200ER, in service with Malaysia Airlines from GE Capital Aviation Services. The three-year-old aircraft is on an 11-year lease. Titan Airways has leased an ex-Air Jet BAe 146-200QC from BAE Systems Asset Management. China Airlines has taken delivery of its first two of 13 Pratt & Whitney PW4000-powered Boeing 747-400 Freighters. The remainder will be delivered up to 2007. CityJet is adding two BAe 146-200s from BAE Systems Asset Management. The first ex-Aer Lingus Commuter aircraft will be delivered this month, with the second following in October. Iranian carrier Mahan Air has purchased an ex-Pakistan International Airbus A300B4-200 from ING Equipment Lease.
