++ Finnair's sale/lease-back deal for four Boeing MD-80s (Marketplace, Flight International, 29 October-4 November, P14) is valued at FIM350 million ($67.3 million), with the annual values of the lease rentals worth some FIM43 million ++ Midway Airlines is disposing of its single leased Airbus A320. The aircraft is leased from Kawasaki Leasing International and Midway is seeking another carrier to take over the remaining last two years of its lease. ++ Airworld will add the first of four new CFM International CFM56-5B4-powered Airbus A320s from GE Capital Aviation Services in November. ++ Austrian Airlines has increased its orders for the Airbus A321 to seven, with the conversion of an A320 order to the larger model. The airline's A320 orders now stand at six. ++ Eurowings has taken delivery of its first of five Aero International (Regional) ATR 42-500s. Five options are also held. ++ Eastwind Airlines, based in Greensboro, North Carolina, has placed orders for two Next Generation Boeing 737-700s, for delivery in April and June 1998. ++ Iran Asseman Airlines has signed a contract with Aero International (Regional) for two ATR 72-210As for delivery in mid-1998. ++ Aeroflot has leased two secondhand Airbus A310-300s from GE Capital Aviation Services, for delivery in late 1997. ++ Fortis Aviation has delivered an ex-TAP Air Portugal Lockheed L-1011 TriStar 500 to Swedish charter start-up Novair Airlines. Fortis has also delivered an ex-Sudan Airways Airbus A310-300 to VASP. The aircraft will initially be leased to VASP's sister company Ecuatoriana. ++ Deutsche BA has sold its last two Saab S340s to Australian airline Hazelton, for delivery in October and November. The airline will now have an all-jet fleet. ++ Great China Airlines has placed a follow-on order for two de Havilland Dash 8Q-300s for delivery before the end of 1997. The aircraft will replace two older Dash 8-300s.
