Ansett has dropped plans to retire three F28 Mk4000sthis year because of delays in acquiring replacement equipment. ++ European Aviation has acquired two 28-year-old Boeing 737-200s from United Airlines "as a commercial opportunity", possibly for onward lease. ++ New US charter carrier Sky Trek has received its third leased Boeing 727-200. ++ China's Harbin General Airlines will receive five 26-seat Mil M-171 helicopters between now and early 1998, under a deal between Russia's Ulan-Ude aircraft manufacturing company and China Aviation Equipment Import and Export.
