++ Tyrolean Airways has placed firm orders with Bombardier for three more de Havilland Dash 8Q series 300s and one Canadair Regional Jet series 200BLR. Deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of this year. The airline is acquiring the Dash 8Qs to accelerate the replacement of its older Dash 8-300s. ++ Belgian carrier Challengair will lease an ex-Air France Pratt & Whitney-powered Boeing 767-300ER from Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services early in 1998. ++ Saudi Arabian private operator Mid East Jet has placed a firm order for a single corporate Boeing 777, powered by the General Electric GE90. Delivery is scheduled for mid-1998. ++ American Airlines has placed orders for four more General Electric CF6-80C2-powered 767-300ERS, for delivery in 1999. ++ Qatar Amiri Flight has purchased an ex-Alyemda General Electric CF6-powered A310-300 from Airbus Industrie, for delivery in December. ++ Far Eastern Air Transport has selected the Pratt & Whitney PW2037 to power the its new fleet of Boeing 757s. The airline recently placed orders for five firm and five options, for delivery from 1998. ++ Three Trans World Airlines Boeing 767-200EMs are being remarketed by Aircraft Leasing and Management on behalf of owner CL/PKAirFinance. The aircraft are available for sale or long-term lease from next February. ++ Fortis Aviation has arranged the sale of TAP Air Portugal's remaining Lockheed L-1011 TriStar 500 to Canadian charter airline Air Transat, for immediate delivery. ++ DK Aviation has arranged the sale of two ex-Newair BAe Jetstream 31s to Coast Air of Norway, on behalf of British Equipment Leasing. DK has also been appointed to remarket two ex-Wideroe de Havilland Dash 7s, leased to National Aviation of Egypt. ++ BAe Asset Management Turboprops has placed a third Jetstream 31 with Corpac of Canada, and has placed one similar aircraft with Toronto-based Samaritan Air.
