++ Aeromar has placed orders with Aero International (Regional) (AI(R)) for two more ATR 42-500s, plus four options, for delivery during 1998. The airline already flies eight ATR 42s, including two -500s. ++ Sun-Air has introduced the first of two secondhand British Aerospace ATPs on lease from BAe Asset Management Turboprops. The aircraft are replacing AI(R) Jetstream 41s on the airline's services from Billund to Oslo and Manchester. ++ Airworld has subleased four Airbus A320-200s to the US operator Ryan International for six months. The aircraft will be flown alongside two Boeing 737-400s, subleased from Aer Lingus for a similar period, on services for North American tour operators. ++ The Venezuelan carrier IAACA has ordered a ATR 72-210 for delivery in January 1998. ++Six of KLM Cityhopper's Saab 340Bs have been bought by Aerolitoral of Monterrey, Mexico. Deliveries have begun and will conclude in May 1998. ++ South African Airways has concluded a deal to lease two ex-Egyptair, Pratt & Whitney-powered Boeing 767-200s from United Technologies Finance for five years. ++ Aviation Sales will dismantle 30 Boeing 737-100/200s acquired from Continental Airlines by Republic Financial, and will manage consignment of the parts removed. ++ Varig will add two ex-Canadian Airlines International Boeing 767-300ERs on five-year leases from Westinghouse, along with three new Boeing 737-300s from GE Capital Aviation Services. ++ Stansted, UK-based TBG Airways has purchased an ex-Trans World Airways Lockheed L-1011 TriStar 1, in a deal arranged by Fortis Aviation. The aircraft will the enter service in mid-December , operating charters and wet leases. ++ Azerbaijan Airlines has added a third Boeing 727-200 to its fleet. The aircraft in the Azerbaijan feature in our 26 November-2 December issue was incorrectly captioned as a Tu-154 when it was, of course, a 727.
