++ Mexicana has leased an ex-Sunways Boeing 757-200 from Sunrock Aircraft, along with an ex-SAS Boeing 767-300ER from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). The 757 was repossessed by Sunrock in September when the Swedish charter airline folded. Another ex-Sunways 757 has been leased to Britannia, by Tombo Aviation. ++ British Airways franchisee CityFlyer Express has placed an order for a fifth Avro RJ100 with Aero International (Regional), for delivery in May 1998. An option has also been taken. ++ Ukraine International Airlines will add two Boeing 737-300s in February and April on lease from GE Capital Aviation Services, to add to its two 737-200s and single -400. ++ Boullioun Aviation Services has confirmed that it will lease three new Boeing 737-300s, along with a one-year-old example, to British Airways. The four aircraft, which will be delivered in 1998, will replace six 737-200s operated by BA Regional. Three 737-300s are also being leased from GECAS. ++ Canadian airline Air Georgian has ordered two Raytheon Beech 1900Ds, and plans to take a third early in 1998. ++ Spanish carrier BCM Airlines will take two new CFM International CFM56-powered Airbus A321-200s on lease in 1998, from GATX A321 Partners. ++ TAP Air Portugal has taken delivery of the first of 16 A319s which it has on firm order and due for delivery through to 2000. The 132-seat, CFM56-powered aircraft will be operated along side A320s on European services. ++ US start-up Winair, of Salt Lake City, will add an ex-TEA Switzerland 737-200 on lease in January for charter services. ++ Two ex-Rich International McDonnell Douglas DC-8-62s have been sold for scrapping at Miami. ++ Midway Airlines has taken delivery of the first of ten Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet Series 200ERs it ordered in October. Midway will operate the CRJs from its hub at Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
