-Bombardier has received an order from Austrian regional Tyrolean for two de Havilland Dash 8-300s, one Dash 8-400 and two Canadair Regional Jet 200s, while Austria's Rheintalflug has ordered one Dash 8-300 and has a conditional order for one more.

-Denver, Colorado-based Frontier Airlines has taken delivery of a Boeing 737-300 leased from Boullion Aviation Services.

-International Lease Finance has sold a Boeing 737-300 now on lease to Shenzhen Airlines to MetLife Capital in a transaction financed in part through BTM Capital.

-Virgin Express has arranged to lease two Boeing 737-300s from GE Capital Aviation Services for delivery this month and in April.

-DHL International has acquired an ex-Carnival Airlines Airbus A300B4 from Pacific Harbor Capital in a deal arranged by Fortis Aviation. The aircraft will be converted by Sogerma to a freighter.

-Alliance Air has signed a deal with Yugoslavia's JAT to wet-lease a McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 from March, for use on regional services by Alliance Express between Entebbe, Dar es Salaam and Rwanda.

-Canadian regional airline Time Air will add three Fokker F28 Mk1000s from TAT European Airlines by the end of March.

-MIAT Mongolian Airlines is finalising a lease deal with Lufthansa for an Airbus A310-300 for use on international routes.

-Color Air, the new Norwegian low-fare airline, is scheduled to launch services in August with two leased Boeing 737-300s, which will be operated by Air Foyle.
